This is a limited term position through February 14, 2014. The position is part time (12 hours per week) and requires work on alternate weekends. Continued employment is a possibility depending on if suitable effort is made and as funding of the research allows. The project involves investigation of the pathology of the genetic disease cystic fibrosis in the small intestine, using a mouse model. We are studying the effects of cystic fibrosis on digestive/absorptive function of the small intestine.

Required Qualifications
BS in Science with related laboratory experience.

Preferred Qualifications
It is desirable that the employee has experience with experimental animals (mice), DNA isolation, and PCR (polymerase chain reaction) used for genotyping the mice.
