Under close direction of senior research staff, conducts activities to support research projects.

Process blood samples in accordance with established experimental requirements and laboratory standard operating procedures.
Performs assigned technical assays according to established procedures and reports test results.
Performs and records instrument maintenance and function checks.
Performs, records and reports quality control results
Records dates of receipt, use, and expiration for all reagents, kits, controls, and standards used for assays.
Maintains accurate and timely records and databases as needed by the research project.
Conduct other assigned activities according to research projects.
Must be a team player
Bachelor's degree in one of the basic sciences or relevant experience in lieu of education. No experience is required with a Bachelor's degree. General Knowledge of research fields.
Must have basic computing skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc). Must have knowledge of basic laboratory procedures and be willing to be fully trained on required equipment. Prior laboratory experience desired. Some experience in coagulation and/or flow cytometry a plus.
