Job Title: Clinical Resource Nurse - Critical Care
Reports to the Critical Care Service Line Director
Job Summary: Plan, direct, or coordinate the daily
patient care activities in clinical practice. Ensure adherence to established
clinical policies, protocols, regulations, and standards. The Clinical
Resource Nurse will serve as a clinical resource for the
Critical Care Units, collaborate with nurse leaders, medical staff
and nursing staff and provides clinical support to improve patient care and
patient outcomes in the ICU/CVICU. The advanced knowledge and
skills required for this role include clinical expertise in a focus area,
evidence -based practice, mentoring, consultation, collaboration, education,
and leadership. Mentoring and focusing on education of Critical Care staff,
provide skills labs and resources to clinical staff. Will need to be flexible
with their schedule to support both the a.m. and p.m. shifts.
- At least 3 years RN ICU/CVICU acute care hospital
resource experience will all be considered.
- Prior critical care coordinator, supervisor, educator, and
specialty & critical care services.
- Active Arizona Registered Nurse license or able to obtain.
- ACLS, BLS certifications required.
- BSN required; Master's strongly preferred with a focus in

- CCRN, PALS, and cardiovascular experience required.
