We are seeking a highly conscientious Research Associate to support our antibody discovery and validation efforts as part of the Molecular Biology Group. The successful candidate must be able to independently execute and apply a variety of required skills including PCR, restriction digest analysis, plasmid preparation and primer design, etc. A strong understanding of standard molecular techniques and their underlying principles is expected. Experience with manually processing large numbers of samples and/or automation would advantageous. Applicants must have good communication skills and be able to effectively interface with a variety of personnel. The candidate must be highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, well organized and possess the ability to work in a team-oriented environment. A Bachelor of Science or Master degree and 2+ years of experience preferred.
