Seeking a Research Associate needed to plan, conduct , analyze, and present experiments using behavioral and electrophysiological techniques. The employee will develop and conduct behavioral studies of chronic pain induced by spinal cord injury, and electrophysiological and neuropharmacological studies of plasticity in nociceptors related to neural injury.

Primary responsibilities include:
- Designs and conducts electrophysiological and behavioral experiments; analyzes data, write papers and makes presentations; orders supplies and maintains animal colony.
Conduct electrophysiological experiments;
Conduct behavioral experiments;
Write papers and make presentations;
Lab duties (animal care, ordering supplies, etc.)
Bachelor's degree in a related science with a minimum of three years related research or clinical or other experience. Master's or Ph.D. in research related field preferred.
- Depending on project(s) bilingual (English/Spanish) skills may be required.
- Depending on project(s), Certification for Protection of Human Research Subject may be required or must be completed within 5 days of employment.
