The purpose of this position is to participate in laboratory research, animal care, and mainainance and administrative duties such as purchasing supplies and assist with reports.
Assist with lab experiments and research. Lab management, order supplies, assist with reports, assist with moving and lifting of lab equipment up to 30 pounds. Assist with care of experimental animals.
Other related functions as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in biology or related field.
Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Prior lab experience and experience working with fish as physiological models. Other skills that would be of benefit include molecular biology, microscopy, analytical chemistry and radioisotope experience. Any prior experience in the fields of osmoregulation, respiration and aquatic toxicology would be an asset.

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement
