The Research Manager is accountable for actively managing multiple, primarily quantitative, research projects from research design to final report delivery.

Key Job Responsibilities

The Research Manager’s job responsibilities include:
• Setting and managing project schedules and timelines
• Managing client relationship and communication
• Formulating research design and implementation plans
• Crafting all research materials (screeners, questionnaires, etc.)
• Directing programming and testing of links for on-line data collection tools
• Teaming up with operations group to guarantee timely data collection and efficient study implementation
• Creating analysis plans
• Crafting report templates
• Constructing reports, writing sharp analyses with insightful conclusions and recommendations
• Presenting final reports to client via web conference or in person
• Collaborating with internal client services and account teams Job Requirements: Personal Prerequisites
The successful candidate must be passionate about healthcare market research and convincingly demonstrate:
• A minimum of a bachelor’s or equivalent degree
• At least 5 years healthcare market research experience
• Experience with advanced quantitative research studies (e.g., DCM, Factor Analysis, Cluster Analysis, Conjoint Analysis)
• High level of detail orientation
• Outstanding analytical talent and writing skills
• Uncompromising commitment to excellence and meeting deadlines
• Ability to multi-task
• A team player mentality
• Ability to identify, scope and resolve problems constructively
• Aptitude for creative thinking
• Business acumen

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Willingness to do limited travel (about 10%) Additional Comments: The following will help the applicant to further distinguish herself/himself:
• Graduate level studies
• Client-side experience
• Advanced analytical skills
• SPSS, SAS, and/or Quantum experience
• Experience in oncology
• Health economics outcome experience
• Experience with managed markets, especially qualitative hands on experience analyzing studies with MCOs (Pharmacy and Medical Directors)
• Qualitative research experience
• In-depth knowledge of the hospital market
