Resident Day Counselor
Part-time, Hourly/Nonexempt
Reports to the Program Manager

Summary – The Resident Day Counselor maintains and oversees medication records and facilitates resident medical and other appointments. The Resident Day Counselor also provides administrative support to the Program Manager as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain and oversee medication records, prescriptions, and refills
• Facilitates resident medical and other appointments
• Regularly reviews progress notes, staff log documentation, and resident charts
• Participate in treatment team meetings, reporting on resident needs, individual goals, and goal progress
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field plus one year of related work experience, or
• Associate’s degree in a human services field plus three years of related work experience, or
• a high school diploma or GED plus four years of related work experience, or
• equivalent combination of education and experience
• Current Virginia Driver’s License and a favorable driving record is required (no more than 2 moving violations and one at-fault accident in the last 3 years; no DUIs in the last 5 years)
