As a member of our Residential Services Program the Residential Program Specialist is responsible for the intake procedure of new clients entering the shelter, distribution of supplies, supervision of client activities, and providing proper information on agency services and making appropriate referrals to help meet client's needs. Maintains client data base, files and evaluations up to date and records pertinent shift information in daily logs, may perform other reasonably related business duties assigned by immediate supervisor or management as required.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalency, plus a minimum of 6 months human services experience, preferably in a residential setting working with diverse population strong focus on customer service.

Preferred: BA in Human Services or course work and experience equal to six years in related field. Will consider volunteer work in human services and Bilingual in Spanish a plus. Experience equal to Two (2) years in Social Services working with at-risk population. Candidate must have strong communication skills, oral and written, computer literate and knowledge of community resources helpful.

Grave shift
Required to have an initial PPD test and annual thereafter.
NOTE: Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Outlook, and ability to master client data base system.
Must complete and pass CSTAR(R) (Custom client data base) training within first 30 days of employment.
