About the Assistant Manager Position:
Our restaurants are open seven days a week. Due to the nature of our business, there are never any set' schedules and managers typically work 5 days a week, 10 hours per day, with two days off. Hours can increase depending on the following conditions: staffing levels, opportunity, new openings, and the management team's performance. Our management teams responsibilities include but are not limited to: hiring, training, scheduling, managing labor expenses, running successful shifts, building business, marketing, product orders, invoice entry, inventory, calculating food cost, and other expense supervision. We teach our managers the business of restaurants therefore they are aware of, track, and control every expense, and are knowledgeable of all components of the budget and expectations. Our concept is customer driven and centered, with managers spending a great deal of time in the dining room during rushes, and being working-managers during slower times. We are a very hands-on company who tries to lead by example. Our management team supervises, mentors, and works directly with our valued staff members on a daily basis in order to coach, grow, and develop our people and our restaurant. *Work schedule set weekly at supervisor discretion and includes weekends and nights.

General Job Requirements:
Must read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations.
Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
Must meet the company performance standards and expectations for the job.
Must participate in all company training and orientations. Some of which may require overnight travel.
Must be able to work the schedule/assigned times and required overtime for the position.
Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform the job. Including POS computers and back of house computers that require the ability to use most standard Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to lead and direct staff in an effective and professional manner.
Flexibility and willingness to work with all personality types from management to staff members
Ability to provide our customers with outstanding customer service.
Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds. Must have the physical ability and stamina to perform all necessary job functions required of a member of management.
Due to required business travel, valid drivers license and reliable transportation is required. Must be at least 18 years old.

Ability to apply rational principles to solve practical problems which involve a variety of variables.
Must be able to understand financial goals and strive to achieve them, while maintaining excellent customer service.
Recognize word meanings commonly found in restaurant management journals, manuals, procedural instructions, and business and technical reports regarding operations.
Maintain restaurant cleanliness standards set by The Department of Health and The Saxton Group.
Effectively communicate goals to all employees and guide them to find the best method to achieve them.
Must be able to complete all other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
