CHARACTERISTICS OF THE JOB:
Provide administrative and clerical support to the Retail Department. Perform administrative and/or clerical duties as determined by the Director of Retail.

3. RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Administrative and clerical services to the Retail Department.
• Conduct research, analyze data, and draft reports
• Resolve complicated multi-faceted issues.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Provide communication and support activity for Regional Managers and other retail staff, as needed.
• Produce internal and external reports requested by the Director of Retail.
• Develop department's internal and external procedures, as required.
• Establish and maintain file system, as requested.
• Conduct special assignments and prepare reports as needed.
• Conduct errands as assigned.
• Conduct self in professional and courteous manner at all times. Maintain confidentiality.
• Adhere to GIRE policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as requested and assigned by the Director of Retail.
• High School diploma and at least two years clerical work experience
• Highly organized, self-directed and detail oriented.
• Computer competency in MS Word, Excel and Power Point at an intermediate level.
• Keyboard 45 WPM, accurately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
• Phone and administration skills/experience.
• Ability to compile and analyze data; prioritize and problem solve.
• Conduct self in professional and courteous manner at all times.
Must have access to a vehicle.
Must have a valid California Drivers License, a clean DMV Report, and California Auto Insurance.
5. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Clean office environment, temperate climate, overhead lighting, carpet, and low to moderate noise level.
6. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Standing/sitting intermittently throughout day. Continuous and repetitive grasping and finger movements to answer phone and use computer. Limited bending/stooping. Visual and hearing skills required. Ability to lift up to and including 25 pounds.
7. IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director of Retail
