The position will be involved in sales and customer interface, demand planning and analysis in support of the retail business of Master Lock to assist in optimizing inventory and service to our customers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Management, Demand Planning, & Analysis
•Sales Management - Walmart
•Monthly, promotional and new item forecasting for customers.
•Identify, submit and follow-up on required forecast change notices.
•Manage monthly roll-up and over/under consumption reports.
•Partner with sales & marketing for strategic account line reviews providing account analysis on an on-going basis with purpose of achieving best possible forecast.
•Partner with sales & marketing to forecast new product/program rollouts.
•Interface with retail customers' replenishment analysts/websites and Master Lock's supply chain regarding item forecasting.
•Analyze forecast performance and improve forecast accuracy.
•Liaison between front end of business and supply side of business with objective of resolving demand changes.
•Reporting and analysis of customer POS data and Master Lock shipment data for all strategic Master Lock accounts as defined.
•Use customer POS systems to track store level/item level in-stocks and identify, analyze, and communicate issues as they occur.
•New item set up for Walmart (One Sync.)
•Identify and communicate internally and externally, all service-oriented issues as they arise with the objective of achieving resolution.
•Track internal service oriented issues and their outcomes.
•Report both internal and external customer fill rates.
•Knowledge of Inventory Management
•Other duties as assigned.
•Annual business planning support
•Adhoc sales reporting as required.
•Key account line review analysis and assistance.
•Bachelors Degree in business administration or finance.
•Requires a minimum of 3 -5years of demand planning experience.
•Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
•Requires a basic knowledge of retail math including gross margin percent, GMROI, inventory turns, etc.
•Must possess strong analytical skills; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally and with all levels of the organization.
•Strong expertise in Walmart Retail Link is a must.
•Must possess ability to multi-task, accept changes in direction and priorities quickly, and work with a sense of urgency.
•Ability to work with a high level of detail, accuracy and accountability.
•Must be a team player. Requires daily communications with management and sales.
