Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Finance degree is also acceptable)
At least 3 years revenue accounting experience with E&P company
Solid understanding/fluency with Excel
BOLO experience is desired but not required
Accountabilities:
You will record monthly journal entries on an as needed basis
Prepare monthly account reconciliations
Prepare and explain monthly revenue variances
Perform monthly close activities and other revenue related journal entries
Monitor gas balancing statements along with associated cash outs
Responsible for severance tax and royalty reports
Prepare revenue spreadsheets
Verification of revenue volumes to production reports
Complete special projects on an as needed basis
