Risk Analyst will be expected to provide analytic support for the Fraud Policy area within Credit Card Risk Management with the objective of reducing fraud related losses while balancing customer impact. Apply knowledge of SAS, SQL, and MS Office, and work closely with Fraud Operations to develop, gain agreement and implement fraud policy strategies. Document business requirements and manage implementation of the strategy. Monitor and track performance metrics for various policy implementations, perform data mining and ad-hoc analysis. Provide clear/concise oral and written communication across various functions and levels, inclusive of Operations, IS, and Risk Management
Strong analytical, interpretive and problem solving skills, which will require interpreting large amounts of data and its impact in both operational and financial areas
3+ years of related analytical experience required
PC/technical skills including demonstrated experience with SAS, SQL and office related products such as Excel and Access required
Bachelor and/or Masters degree in a quantitative discipline (i.e., statistics, economics, finance, engineering) or equivalent work/training is required
Prior experience in creating/managing authorization decision strategies a plus
Statistical modeling experience a plus
