As a Senior IT Risk Analyst, you will support the needs of Capital Group by administering, maintaining, and implementing policies and procedures for analyzing, mitigating and managing risk to data and systems.

Specific responsibilities include:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, supervision and conclusion of IT audits
  • Provide guidance to teams on risk and control issues
  • Perform IT general controls reviews, application controls testing, and segregation of duties analysis
  • Manage and follow-up on open audit issues to ensure closure
  • Lead or contribute to risk related initiatives and drive for results
  • Champion and influence risk awareness among stakeholders and team members
  • Coordinate support of customer control self attestations
  • Analyze current controls and risks (in aggregate) to articulate risk appetite and risk tolerance at a strategic business level Hiring Criteria • Proven ability to manage audit or control related activities, including audit preparation, coordination with business and IT associates, interfacing with external and internal auditors, collection and management of audit artifacts, and audit close-out
  • Experience auditing, implementing, and/or operating infrastructure and application technology controls
  • Solid understanding of risk assessment, control analysis, and audit methodology with the ability to contribute to management discussions of these topics
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, proven analytical skills, and project management skills and concepts
  • Ability to translate ambiguous concepts into tangible/measurable actions
  • Proven ability to self-motivate, set goals, multi-task, meet deadlines and lead others to complete objectives
  • Ability to establish concrete actions from abstract concepts
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in a simplified manner
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management, external auditors, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to review risk strategies and structure work efforts to support them
  • 4-5 years of audit related experience
  • Professional certifications such as CISA or CISM are preferred
  • Knowledge of SSAE 16 SOC 1 audit a plus
