Large Orange County based Company is seeking a Risk Management Analyst. This role will support Regional finance management, operations staff, insurance brokers, and others with respect to insurance renewals, e.g., in development of global exposure information, renewal information and annual premium allocations, etc. Other duties will include: Provide advice and guidance to affected Department Heads and/or others in assessing claims and available coverage; evaluate property insurance carrier recommendations to mitigate risks. Develop and design specifications for structure of the Risk Management web page, ensuring appropriate content and ongoing viability of the site. Risk Management Administration: Ensure all appropriate information for the issuance of insurance certificates is provided to insurance brokers; process check requests; track and follow up on receipt of binders and policies. The Company’s captive insurance-related subsidiaries, calculate premiums and allocate them to all business entities throughout the organization, and ensure all local country rules are considered. Prepare monthly department budget and Annual Operating Plan, assess significant variances, and provide remedy solutions to Director.
Minimum 3 years insurance/risk management experience, Word, Excel, PowerPoint capabilities, excellent communication & interpersonal skills, Website/data base management skills a plus, and Basic accounting/basic business law training.
