- M Force Staffing has an immediate opening for a Robot Technician and Programmer for a great opportunity in Tennessee.
Create and modify complex FANUC/ABB robotic welding programs while consistently maintaining the essential welding parameters. Change as necessary the weld data, torch angles, electrical extension, starting techniques and other robotic/ welding variables
Create and modify programs for Miller and Lincoln welding equipment.
Analyze and determine proper weld sequence for cycle time and part dimensional improvements to reduce cycle time and ensure part consistency.
Assist the Weld Engineer in data collection for continuous improvement activities.
Complete preventive maintenance per the instructions on weld fixture, weld cells and auxiliary equipment. Provide suggestions to continuously improve the preventive maintenance schedules.
Provide assistance in the design, build, installation, and stat up of weld cells/fixtures, size machine/tools leak test machine/tools and all auxiliary equipment.
Provide leadership and technical support for 5s and lean objectives.
Complete equipment changeovers according to the changeover instructions for weld fixtures, size tools, leak test tools, and all auxiliary equipment.
Provide assistance to error proofing processes through 8D problem solving.
Assist in departmental measurable goals relating to customer concerns, cost of quality, cost savings, safety and on-time delivery.
Participate in lean initiatives such as continuous improvement events, and identify/eliminate all types of waste.

Qualified candidates will possess and associate's degree in electronics, engineering, or welding technology and or equivalent years of experience creating welding programs for FANUC robotics systems (both FANUC and ABB robot systems preferred) previous experience setting up and troubleshooting automated welding applications and performing preventive maintenance on weld fixtures, weld cells and auxiliary equipment. Proficiency with interpreting part prints, general knowledge of Microsoft Office, the ability to adjust parameters for MIG schedules, completion of one of the following training classes: FANUC robot or ABB

ABB arcware and material handling programming experience
ABB conveyorline tracking experience
Robotic seam tracking experience
Servo robot laser tracking systems
Independent/coordinate robotic motion control experience
