Home Depot Interiors is responsible for the Sales and Manufacturing of premium Kitchen and Bath remodeling products offered in over 45 major markets. The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales performance to meet pre-determined company sales goals. This position will manage a team of 100% commissioned sales consultants to meet or exceed all performance goals. The candidate will have the ability to excel in a structured environment with a proven selling system and a customer-centric selling philosophy. The successful candidate will be results driven with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a variety of business settings as well as being highly effective in time management. MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Ability to plan and execute appointment generation training and programs. (All formats are provided by the company.)
Recruit, hire, train, motivate, coach, mentor, lead and retain a team of in-home direct sales consultants within home improvement industry. Ensure that they are following the procedures and guidelines outlined by the business.
Supervise, motivate and execute all aspects of sales management and appointment generation activities to ensure that results meet or exceed performance standards and metrics.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with store associates and store management personnel to drive store based lead generation activities to help meet appointment goals.
Work with installation team to ensure sold jobs are being converted to installations and work to resolve any other issues.
Assist in saving customer cancels, resolving consumer affairs issues or other customer service issues.
Participate in field rides with sales consultants to assess performance.

Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous recruiting experience would be helpful. Prior in-home sales or home improvement experience preferred. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Ability to work as part of a team and provide leadership and direction. Conduct effective sales presentations in a customer's home and the ability to train others to do the same.
