Our Client, an outstanding global Denver based company, has an immediate requirement for a Principal Configuration Analyst (SAP BW/BOBJ). This is a permanent full-time position. Position establishes direction and provides comprehensive technical leadership in a rapidly changing/emerging environment to successfully implement innovative solutions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs, researches, and plans one or more major phases of complex projects and provides work direction to lower level technologists.
Applies highly professional business and/or technical knowledge when working with clients, other ITS groups, and vendors in activities such as identifying options, selection, analysis, design, installation, coding, maintaining, and testing of technology solutions.
Responsible for providing technical assistance, problem resolution, support, and training for clients and other ITS groups.
Shares responsibility with team members for 24-hour on-call problem resolution.
Responsible for recommending, implementing, creating, maintaining, interpreting, summarizing, and reporting on the performance indicators for the technology area.
Responsible for developing design specifications and maintaining operational documentation and procedures
Provides leadership and vision for the ITS group.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge required to perform at this level is generally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in the area of Computer Science or Business.
Generally requires a minimum of 10 years in a related field and 2 years of project leadership experience.
Proficient with Business Warehouse (SAP BW)/ Business Intelligence (BI) concepts – data modeling, EDW, ETL tools, Bex Queries.
Completed 2-3 BW full life cycle implementations.
Knowledgeable with SAP processes for Sales and Finance.
Skilled using Business Objects (BOBJ) version 3.x, 4.x, Webi, Crystal Reports and Info View.
Demonstrated ability to direct one or more major phases of complex projects.
Demonstrated ability to provide research and planning in a rapidly changing/emerging environment.
Demonstrated ability to analyze business/technical problems and select, design, or implement information technology solutions in accordance with business needs.
Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
Requires an in-depth knowledge of a specific technology discipline.
Dedication to quality client service and proactive and responsive to client needs.
Demonstrated in-depth working knowledge of multiple business disciplines.

Demonstrated ability to integrate multiple applications on multiple platforms including experience in a PC development environment.

General understanding of multiple business disciplines with in-depth knowledge of Sales and Finance reporting and applying system solutions to meet those business needs.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and project teams using project management tools and to coordinate with client personnel.
Demonstrated ability to gather and document complex or strategic business requirements, evaluate alternative packaged or in-house written software systems, and perform cost/benefit analyses.
