Development, maintenance, and enhancement of the finance area of SAP such as Treasury, General Ledger, Controlling-Profitability Analysis, Electronic Bank Statements. Collaborates with internal customers including business analysts, corporate sponsors, other functional team members, and other stakeholders to understand and document specific details regarding requirements. Evaluates solution alternatives and advises options, risk and benefits. Makes recommendations and presents potential solutions to business analysts, functional team directors and IT management. Leads system configuration to satisfy business requirements in accordance with solution design. Develops design and functional specifications that provide specific guidance to software developers to affect solutions using standard technical approaches that can be readily understood and maintained by other technical staff. Develop and foster good business relationships and coordinate activities with internal customers and other IT colleagues to ensure successful project implementation and to meet expected service levels. Monitor and report to management on the status of project efforts, anticipating/identifying issues that inhibit the attainment of project goals and implementing corrective actions. Participates in all phases of the software development life cycle including the analysis, design, test, implementation of changes, and post-production support.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, or business-related discipline, or at least 2 years related work experience/technical training. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience configuring SAP FI modules with a very solid understanding of programming concepts. Must also be experienced in software unit and integration testing. Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of SAP's customizing toolset, including IMG (Implementation Management Guide). SAP configuration skills in one or more modules. Solid understanding of SAP data model in one or more functional areas. Thorough business understanding in one or more functional areas, as well as an understanding of the organization's industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms. Sound analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well on cross-functional project teams, and foster team commitment to tasks. Familiarity with SAP architecture.
