Serves on a Casual basis, work as needed, as a SCA-Warehouse Specialist supporting the TSSC-III Program through the NACO Warehouse, based out of Glendale, MD.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience or a combination of experience and related training in order to perform the following duties:
Variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the NACO Warehouse storage plan.
Work involves most of the following:
Processes receipts on product.
Prepares high volume orders for shipment.
Routes product to prescribed storage locations.
Initiates the distribution process by filling orders as directed.
Using customer invoices/packing slip accurately selects product from stock location verifying stock number and description.
Alerts the Supervisor to any irregularities or damages in the product inventory.
Assures all completed orders are properly tagged when delivered to packing/shipping station.
Will utilize aero lifts to pull all orders rack locations higher than 4 feet from the warehouse floor.
Will be trained to process order through shipping meter.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
3-5 years of experience
in an inventory or warehouse environmnet and a High School Diploma are required.
Familiar with warehouse machines, equipment, and tools related to product control functions (i.e. part counting scales, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.)
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Forklift and OSHA Certification are preferred.
Basic computer knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office Applications is preferred.
This position requires a security background check by the FAA and must be able to meet customer security requirements (moderate to high risk).
