Responsible for providing office assistance (secretarial/clerical support) to the Cancer Program. Responsible for making appointments and collecting fees from scheduled Program activities, including but not limited to the Genetic Counseling program, research, cancer support programs, and complementary care programs. Schedules room utilization and is responsible for the day to day flow of activities including the assistance of promoting the above mentioned programs.
Responsible for the data entry into the Cancer Registry and must be able to utilize appropriate computerized data bases.

Performs office assistant and secretarial functions for the department, including but not limited to, typing all correspondence, maintaining files, composing responses to inquires as appropriate, maintaining calendars as required, managing telephone communications, maintaining office supply inventory, preparing check requests and purchase orders as required.
Performs receptionist duties and responsibilities as required for the department, including but not limited to greeting and directing employees and visitors, responding to telephone inquiries.
Coordinates scheduling of committee and/or departmental staff meetings (as required), including recording deliberations of meetings, preparing appropriate meeting materials, meeting location, audiovisual needs, etc. as required.
Education, Training, Licensure and Experience Requirements
High School Graduate
College or Business (Secretarial) School graduate preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years experience
