Level K management position located in the Seat Integration Team (SIT) responsible for pilot/attendant seat procurement and management system/business operations.

Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements. Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management processes and supplier diversity. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Provides oversight regarding negotiation processes and related tools. Manages, develops and motivates employees.

General knowledge supplier assessment processes including Preferred Supplier Certification and Work Transfer Process. Elements of assessment to include supplier's past performance, business processes, capacity plan, statement of work evaluation, risk mitigation plan, capabilities and lean practices in order to rate supplier viability to support the Boeing companies goals and objectives. Ability to control and deliver project deliverables, project accounting and appraisal, and optimize the contribution of the people involved using project management tools.
