The Licensed Professional Counselor exhibits basic skills and knowledge to provide care based on the physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, educational and safety needs of the patient. Provide Individual, group and family therapies.
Master's degree in related field and licensed by the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Two (2) years clinical therapy experience with psychiatric or substance abuse in an acute care or residential setting preferred. This experience should include both individual and group therapy experience as a part of an Interdisciplinary Team.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Non Violent Crisis Intervention (PMAB) within ninety (90) days of employment.
