We are seeking an enthusiastic and domain expert software engineer to augment the R&D team, to architect, research and develop and support leading edge solutions, with a specific focus in on chip extraction. Candidate must have in depth prior experience of working on related EDA areas. Thorough understanding of power or signal net extraction with experience in circuit level concepts, matrix theory for solving large sparse linear systems and optimization theory is required. Experience with latest process technology nodes to develop new and innovative solutions to meet the complexities of these new process nodes is required. Strong background in power and timing analysis will be preferred. Development experience in C++ and object oriented programming on unix platform is essential. Good written and oral communications skills are required. Prior experience in physical design, simulation, and/or sign-off verification is desirable. Knowledge of GDSII, LEF/DEF and DSPF/SPEF and SPICE formats is also required
MS EE/CS required, PHD EE/CS preferred. 10 +years experience and EDA software development experience , required C++ development tools and skills
Desirable experience in space based routing algorithms or geometry manipulation for design rule checking.
