The Social Worker in the Center for Children and Adolescent Health provides services to patients and families for ongoing well baby care. As a member of an interdisciplinary team, the social worker assists families and children through advocacy, concrete services, counseling and support. The worker acts as a liaison to community agencies and referral sources. The social worker will also provide consultation and training to the professional community. Participation in Pratice Intake coverage system is required.

DomesticViolence Program/Children and Moms Program
Supervision of MSW Interns
Participation in Physician and Resident education
Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of developmental stages of children and adults. This position interacts with patients from all ages from Neonates to Adults. Knowledge of basic computer skills is an asset. Spanish speaking preferred.
Training & Education:
Masters Degree from an accredited school of Social Work.
Minimum 5 years' graduate experience under MSW supervision.
