DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :|
Working under general direction, this position conducts software inspection, testing, verification, and validation. Reviews software design and change specifications to ensure software testing measures meet acceptable reliability standards and project and program objectives. Develops, modifies, and executes software testing plans. Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software and analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Consults with developers to resolve issues and provides feedback for the technical appraisal of the tested software program(s) and monitors its deployment across the appropriate system(s). Contributes to the analysis and development of test standards and procedures for software development and maintenance and participates in the development of software quality testing, and operating methods and processes.

Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Typically requires a bachelors, masters, or doctoral degree in computer science, information systems or related discipline and minimum software development experience as follows; five or more years with a BS and three years or more with an MS. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
Must have a strong conceptual understanding of software development concepts, theory, and operations.
Demonstrates complete understanding and application of programming and analysis concepts with the ability to organize, plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate workloads to meet established deadlines or milestones.
Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are required enabling an effective interface with other professionals.
Customer focused, involved in long-term trend and emerging requirement analysis, with a strong conceptual understanding of enterprise-wide software.
Must be able to work both independently and on a team.
Able to work extended hours as required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Security Clearance is required.
Five years experience of professional software testing is desirable.
An active DOD Security Clearance is desirable
