Job Responsibilities

This Statement of Work covers the need for the services of a college student( s) to provide technical and/or analytical support in the field of electrical engineering with the self organizing, distributed sensor networks for cargo security for the Intelligence and Security Technology Transition and Applied Research Initiatives (ISTTARI) project. The purpose of this project is to improve the value of data collected from distributed physical and transport security networks, maximize the insight provided by that data, and, counter new capabilities that would threaten the ability of US commercial and military organizations to operate freely and effectively in a networked global environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Undergraduate Level: Electrical Engineering major (Junior) Required Course Work: Java Programming C++ Programming Calculus I, II, and III Differential Equations Physics 1, 2, and 3 IEEE 802.15.4 wireless networks IEEE 802.15.4 standard IEEE 802.15.4 communications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to review, analyze and document specific operational procedures, and/or performing feasibility studies. Ability to design, exercise and/or test models utilizing stimulation, simulation, emulation, numerical and statistical analyses techniques. Ability to complete monthly Status Reports and Bi-Weekly Time Reports in accordance with basic contract CDRL.
