Job Responsibilities

This Statement of Work covers the need for the services of a college student to provide technical and/or analytical support in the field ofcomputer science for the JIATF-S Decision Support Widgets project. The purpose ofthis task is to obtain analytical and technical support services from an undergraduate student at educational institutions in support of computer programming, application development, and some graphic artist design support forUser-Centered Design (UCD) and Engineering efforts to support a current project. The goal of this project is to rapidly develop prototypes of Command and Control (C2) applications in support of on-going efforts at the project customer's site. These efforts concentrate on the development of prototypes in a spiral manner based on UCD principals to incorporate customer feedback into the next delivery. The majority of the work shall be development of the C2 applications.

Minimum Qualifications

Undergraduate Level: Computer Science major (Senior) Required Course Work: User interfaces, software programming, data structures, and other related computer science courses.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to install and integrate software applications and hardware components; resolve workstation hardware and software challenges; develop web applications and tools; create or upgrade websites and/or web pages and graphics; write, test and document code; perform data conversion and coding, and/or data analysis and data reduction; complete monthly Status Reports and Bi-Weekly Time Reports in accordance with basic contract CDRL.
