Job Responsibilities

This Statement of Work covers the need for the services of a college student(s) to provide technical and/or analytical support in the field of Computer Engineering for Security System Support. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, Pacific develops and deploys security systems used to protect U.S. Navy personnel. The principal functions of the security systems are to aid existing security personnel with the tasks of detecting, classifying, assessing, and responding to waterborne threats along the shore, in port, and the littorals.

Minimum Qualifications

Undergraduate Level: Computer or Electrical Engineering major (Junior) Required course work: prerequisite/foundational courses

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to review, analyze and document specific operational procedures, assist with software/computer/electrical engineering, build/assemble electronic systems, equipment studies, measurements, analysis, test and evaluation. Ability to design, exercise and/or test models utilizing stimulation, simulation, emulation, numerical and statistical analyses techniques. Ability to complete monthly Status Reports and Bi-Weekly Time Reports in accordance with basic contract CDRL.
