Will reconcile financial discrepancies, and provide documentation to support recommended adjusted transactions.
Perform root cause analysis and recommending corrective solutions.
Report financial conditions and initiate improvement recommendations for command policies and procedures.
Develop effective plans for accomplishing DoD and the Department of the Navy (DON) established goals and standards.
Maintain status and performance metrics utilizing designated systems, databases, and Microsoft applications.
Maintain official databases and document files.
Will draft appropriate correspondence for communicating with external organizations as appropriate.
Attend meetings and coordinate with other entities within the command, the Department of the Navy (DON), DoD, and other federal agencies.
Provide training using self-developed materials. Develop and prepare briefing materials as required. Document desk procedures for all functions performed.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Knowledge of task related DoD and Department of the Navy (DON) procedures, processes, systems and organizations desired.
- Strong MS Office application skills, particularly MS Excel.
- US Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Confidential or Secret clearance is required.
- ERP knowledge or experience a plus
