LOCATION: 1110 W. Washington St, Suite 450, Phoenix, AZ 85007

Recognizing the growth of Indian gaming in the State and the need for an independent regulatory body with expertise in gaming, the Arizona Legislature passed Laws 1995, Chapter 76, which expanded the Arizona State Gaming Agency to become the Arizona Department of Gaming ("the Department"). The Department partners with Arizona's Indian Tribes to oversee Indian casinos. Gaming in Arizona is governed by the Arizona Tribal-State Gaming Compacts between the State and 21 Arizona Tribes. The Department of Gaming is currently looking for a Special Agent join their team.

Responsible for certifying applicants to work in Arizona Casinos in compliance with the provisions of the Tribal-State Compacts and applicable state and federal laws. Responsible for investigations of suspected violations of the Tribal-State Compacts. Conducts investigations of persons associated with the Gaming Industry in Arizona. Writes investigative reports. May testify in various venues, depending on the nature of charges or litigation involved.

-Must be capable of working with considerable independence on difficult assignments of substantial importance to both the State of Arizona and the various Indian Tribes.
-Must have extraordinary diplomatic skills.
-Must have above average computer skills, report writing skills, and background investigative experience.
-Must have strong interpersonal skills.

Unrestricted AZPOST Peace Officer certification.
