IMG - a rapidly growing business with a 25-year history providing information technology (IT) and information assurance (IA) services to government and commercial customers worldwide - is seeking a full-time SQL DBA with TS/SCI at its Fort Meade, MD location.

Job Purpose:
The purpose of the SQL DBA with TS/SCI is to perform troubleshooting and maintenance of user database systems, server database systems, and user and server database applications.

Perform monitoring of systems for issues and compliance. Manage inventory in the Army SIM (Systems Integration Management) Intelligence Database (ASID) and local spreadsheets. Train users and technicians on software (MSSQL, MS Access, MySQL). Setup servers, database applications, and services. Install and manage databases for services, (SeeM, Auditing, IIS, SharePoint). Develop SQL code or user interfaces to accomplish tasks or provide reports as required. Monitor systems for security vulnerabilities or misuse. Maintain database backup systems.

Train on new configurations and procedures for managed equipment

Participate in the local configuration control board for issues related to responsibilities.

Configure, manage, update, troubleshoot, and monitor all MS SQL Server databases supporting the websites, SharePoint, SCCM, helpdesk, and any other databases created in the future.

Led the front- and back-end development of a SharePoint site for the AOG’s motor pool, gathering requirements, creating functions in SharePoint designer, and overseeing the operations and maintenance of the site.

Provide data from the databases as needed to system administrators.

Design and develop new databases as required, using SSIS to import data to newly created databases.

Collaborate with the web administrator to design and modify databases to meet customer needs.

Configure and manage all database systems to conform to security requirements.

Review audits of databases and database servers for security and functionality of the systems.

Manage a SQL server backup implementation and restore data from backups as required.

Assist with any user developed databases built in Microsoft Access.

Maintain an expert level of knowledge of the SQL programming language.

Maintain a proficient level of knowledge of MSSQL specific programming for triggers and SQL agents.

Configure, manage, update, patch, troubleshoot, and monitor all physical database servers to ensure they meet security guidance.

Perform data entry and retrieval from ASID and assist and train all users on its functionality.

Document all databases, triggers, procedures, SQL Agents, and standard operating procedures which apply to your area of responsibility.

Using SQL Server Profile, monitors database size, growth history, and application connections; sets up service accounts; and conducts analysis.

Maintains documentation of errors and corrective actions using SQL system logs.

Participate in the local configuration control board for issues related to responsibilities.

Identify areas where database functionality can provide a more efficient means of performing work.

Train users as required on how to use the database systems.

Install any database front-end systems and provide user training as needed

Maintain compliance of systems IA W DoD and Army regulations and directives

Track work orders, incident reports, and terminal tasks for progress and or changes

Perform periodic system vulnerability scans

Maintain general cleanliness of work areas

Troubleshoot user issues via telephone and remote desktop protocols.

Clearance Required: TS/SCI (Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmented Information) required prior to consideration.

Certifications Required: DOD 8570.01M Compliance Required Prior to Consideration.

IAT - II (CompTIA Security+) and relevant MCTS

Years of Experience Required: This position requires 10 years of relevant technical experience.
