The SQL Developer-KBM is responsible for working with the rest of the R&D group to
deliver fully functioning software and all associated artifacts. This role will
take responsibility of creating and maintaining software such that they meet
all established standards and comply with regulatory guidelines

Analyze and independently identify complex problems within the knowledge-base software and/or a customer’s data to create templates, enhance templates, or fix known issues within the software. 20%

Exercise independent judgment to determine the appropriate course of action to be taken based on the analysis performed and all possible solutions in order to determine the most appropriate way to develop or modify content 20%

Document all analysis and actions in Quality Central software. This data is used by management to determine resource requirements and allocations and/or software enhancements necessary and/or release notes and/or other factors critical to company’s operation.

Evaluate the EHR Content for efficiency and optimization in workflow, design and development techniques, including making suggestions for improvements. 20%

Use complex tools such as NextGen Template Editor, SQL, and SQL Server to create and modify EHR Content 15%

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
3+ years of experience in software development.
Strong expertise in SQL and SQL Server is required.
Read/write/troubleshoot stored procedures
Must possess strong analytical skills and ability to research and troubleshoot SQL queries, understand the database schema, triggers, etc.
2 + years of experience in working in client server development. Experience in VB, C# is a plus.
Programming experience in C, C++ or Java is a plus. Must have some scripting knowledge.
Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
Understand build and delivery process along with source control systems.
A team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
Must have a service-oriented attitude with excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and highly focused are required.
