Leads the development and execution of enterprise wide IT financial control and management processes. Builds and maintains key business relationships with the Finance, Budget/Planning, Procurement and Legal departments. Responsible for developing and executing repeatable, accurate reporting as well as ad hoc process or reporting needs to meet executive management requests. Lead analysis efforts designed to contain costs, improve the business value of IT investments, increase operational efficiencies, and reduce risks. Participates in Vendor contract management and contract processing in VMO (Vendor Management Office). Handles financial aspect of vendor contracts. Participates and works with Asset Management function to manage and report on IT Assets and licensing. Designs, develops, implements IT financial analysis, metrics, reporting, and benchmarking processes. Partners with purchase and invoice processing processes as well as vendor management function. Leads and trains other staff members in processes to ensure processes are completed timely and within scheduled deadlines set by business areas. Leads research, detailed analysis and ROI development for complex purchases. Researches, designs, develops, analyzes, implements and executes monthly financial metrics management and reporting for IT spending areas and resource management. Designs, develops, implements and executes processes for tracking and reporting corporate project spending related to IT efforts within portfolio management tools. Key contact for IT and enterprise project managers regarding these processes. Trains and audits use of these tools by other team members. Designs, develops, implements and trains other team members on process to audit consultant costs for patterns of fiscal abuse and activities related to IT/Corporate project spending. Interacts with business/IT leaders to reviews consultant activities and invoices. Develops and maintains strong relationships with other leaders throughout IT and business areas to support CIO/IT leaders. Proactively acts on behalf of supervisor to resolve critical issues. Designs, develops, writes and maintains IT Department Operations policies and procedures to support existing and new corporate business processes. Works on behalf of IT management team to adapt to business changes and minimize the impact on other IT areas. Fosters communications for overall department operations processes. Acts on behalf of supervisor and guides the work of other IT Finance staff. Acts as a coach and mention to other staff members. Makes recommendations for improved processes and business operations. Supports Vendor Management Office for Contract processing and financial analysis. Works with Asset Management team to manage and control IT Assets. Performs other duties as required. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education: College Education or equivalent combination of education/experience required in Health Care Administration/Insurance, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field. MBA would be preferred. Minimum Experience: " Five years of vendor management, IT financial management or related experience required. " Three years of project management, supervisory or other leadership experience strongly preferred. Required Skills: " Strong desktop computer skills, including expert knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point. " Must have experience and be comfortable working in a collaborative team environment as well as independently, and possess a sense of accountability and urgency in completing assignments. " Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to compose policies and procedures. Must be able to interact directly with executives and business leaders. " Must be highly detail oriented with strong organizational skills. " Exhibits logical thinking abilities, problem solving, communication, interpersonal and math skills " Ability to effectively prioritize and plan assignments and projects in a high-pressure environment " Proven ability to build relationships with business and technical partners to improve customer service and continuously improve delivery " Ability to work with customers and coworkers " Highly self motivated and directed " Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities " Knowledge of health care and health care delivery systems " Ability to prioritize and plan assignments in a high-pressure environment
