Timken Housed Units and Power Transmissions are recruiting for 2 Product Specialists: 1 to cover the Southwest Region and 1 to cover the Northeast Region of the US. Domestic Relocation provided.
Collaborate with the Business Unit Manager, Sales and Marketing Manager, Regional Managers, Product Manager, and Marketing in planning, developing, executing and measuring strategies to ensure the successful growth of these products.
Manage the assigned sales region, to generate maximum revenue and meet company objectives. Coordinate all sales associates, helping to make sure all strategies, objectives and opportunities are being maximized.
Help to develop and manage specific marketing plans to ensure revenue growth by both region and product lines. Develop and manage strategy to ensure the aggressive promotion of Roller and Ball Housed Units, Couplings, and Chain.
Work with Distribution and OE U.S. sales force to establish a joint sales force relationship with distributors, original equipment manufacturers, fabricators, and end users for assigned region.
Participate in all regional meetings for AM and OE sales teams in applicable territory. On a regular basis review internal sales reports, back order reports, open quotes, profit margins and expense budgets as assigned. Provide management input on OE and Distribution channels , pricing, product development, inventory, and supply chain strategies and results.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Business or Engineering.
Preferred Requirements: MASTER in Business or Engineering.
Previous Related Job Experience of 10 to 15 years and Bachelors Degree with specific knowledge of Business, Marketing and Engineering.
Previous Related Job Experience of 7 to 10 years and a Masters Degree with specific knowledge of Business, Marketing and Engineering.
Knowledge of Bearings and Power Transmission products and their various forms. Skills in negotiation and presentation.
The ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals.
Ability to develop, plan and implement short and long range goals.
Excellent problem solving abilities and dispute management tactics.
Ability to Champion Change and inspire commitment among the Sales Associates in your territory.
Self discipline, Self starter, ability to drive to completion of goals.
Abilty to cover large territory with extensive travel.
