Performs general facility and grounds maintenance duties for stadium sports and events.
NOTE : The following duties are illustrative and not exhaustive. Depending on assigned area of responsibility, incumbents in the position may perform some or all of the activities described below.
Assists electricians, plumbers, masons, landscapers, maintenance, HVAC and equipment mechanics in operating and repairing gas/electric equipment.
Paints, caulks and spackles.
Mows grass, trims hedges, plant and spray/weed landscaping beds.
Cleans and replaces supplies in restrooms and disposes of trash.
Sweeps floors and cleans sidewalks.
Reports damages to facilities, grounds and equipment.
Performs other related duties as required.
Note: Minimum Qualifications MUST be attained before the recruitment ending date.
Completion of ninth grade; and
Possession of a valid Driver License.
APPOINTING AUTHORITY MAY REQUIRE
Working irregular schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays and adjustments of leave, shifts, and breaks, which may be required upon short notice.
NOTE: Reduced Hour Employment means the position holder will work at least 50% but less than 100% of the regular hours worked by full-time employees in the agency to which assigned. All employee benefits which are divisible are earned in the ratio that the reduced-hour employment is to full time.
