STNA - Drake Center - Float Pool
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides basic care as delegated by professional personnel. The Certified Nursing Assistant also performs non-direct patient activities as assigned and maintains an orderly, clean and safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
Knowledge and Skills
High School graduate or equivalent. Eight (80) hours of State Tested Nurses Aide Training.
Years of Experience:
Previous experience preferred.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
Trained and maintains proficiency in CPR. Completes an annual certification of mandatory unit specific, hospital and safety education. Demonstrates ongoing competency in performance for age related care, growth and developmental needs, treatment protocols, and psychosocial needs of patients with primary focus on adult and geriatric patients.
