SUBSTITUTE TEACHING - GENERAL VACANCY POOL
This is a pool for people interested in day-to-day subbing for Falcon School District 49.
Current substitutes with the district do NOT need to apply
Current pay rates for daily substitute teachers are $90.00 for full-day and $54.00 for half-day assignments.

To be considered for a substitute orientation and begin working for Falcon School District 49, all applicants must apply via Applitrack and
3 or 5 year Substitute Authorization, Interim Teacher, Initial or Professional Teaching License or Special Services Provider License issued by the Colorado Department of Education
upload out of state licenses as these will not be acceptable
All applicants must have a valid sub authorization or license prior to applying
Transcripts showing that you have achieved a minimum of a Bachelors degree - please upload full and complete transcripts. Allowing a determination to be made regarding
highly qualified status under No Child Left Behind (NCLB) guidelines for long-term sub assignment, should one become available.
PLACE or PRAXIS II scores if applicable
CDE will only accept the following PRAXIS II scores:

#10014 - Elementary Education
#10041 - English Language, Literature and Composition
#10061 - Mathematics
#10401 - School Psychologist
#10435 - General Science
#10081 - Social Studies
#20330 - Speech-Language Pathology

An orientation is REQUIRED for all approved applicants prior to being added to the substitute pool.
You will be notified by the Human Resources Department if you are selected for orientation.
