Substitute Teacher Pay Rates for 2011-12


$110/day (day 1-40)

$130/day (day 41-80)

$140/day (day 81+)

Days begin at 0 each school year.

We are accepting applications for



substitute teachers for the 2012-13 school year. If you are a Minnesota licensed teacher and are interested in being considered as a substitute teacher in our district, please take 10-15 minutes to complete our on-line application.

After we receive your application, please wait and we will be in touch with you to give you instructions on how to complete your background check. Once your background check is complete, we will invite you to a small group orientation that is held monthly.

background checks done at another district or from another employer. Our database is on-line and all background checks completed for our district must be submitted and maintained in our on-line database.

Blood Borne Pathogens Training


If you are interested in substitute teaching in Special Education, Physical Education and/or Industrial/Tech Education, you must complete an annual Blood Borne Pathogens training class. The class is generally 20-30 minutes long and is mandatory per OSHA guidelines. If Special Ed, Phy Ed or Tech Ed are areas you are interested in, please note that on your application. We will give you the information on how to complete the blood borne pathogens training once we contact you.
