Direct the daily work flow of clinical staff and oversee operational activities. Provide direct patient care and perform established clinical procedures, utilizing population-specific guidelines in collaboration with the physician.
REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of nursing program: Diploma, ADN, BSN, or MSN required
. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
Minimum 2 years clinic and/or urgent care nursing experience required.
Unrestricted RN license by State of Colorado Board of Nursing or compact privileges under the multi-state
Nurse Licensure Compact agreement.
Relevant life support training as determined by assigned department. May include CPR, BLS, or other certification as required by the department. For new hires and transferring employees, certification will be obtained during orientation if necessary. 3 years nursing experience preferred. 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Competency in clinical skills related to the patient population being served. Knowledge of clinic operations, human resources, and patient care management concepts. Knowledge of state and federal regulations. Knowledge of system policies and procedures. Demonstrate patient advocacy to ensure patient's rights to privacy, safety, and confidentiality. Excellent customer service skills to identify patient and/or employer needs and facilitate action to meet those needs. Strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Ability to handle multiple priorities.
