Our top line is the health and welfare of our employees, customers and the public.Safety Manager - BilingualMiami, FloridaRole and ResponsibilitiesThe Safety Manager provides leadership and technical expertise in the development and implementation of the InfraSource safety program; oversee the planning and implementation of technical training programs (including Operator Qualification).Champion and own safety by modeling safe behaviors.Provide leadership and technical expertise in the development and implementation of the Company’s safety program. Collaborate with outside agencies as required.Educate/train employees in regulatory and company requirements.Identify operational safety concerns and develop recommendations to improve internal controls to maximize effectiveness and efficiency. Determines where existing policies/procedures require change or when new one needs to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion.Available for on-call, emergency response, incident investigation and regulation reporting responsibility. Responsible for performing root cause analysis for all safety related incidents.Coordinate and conduct field environmental, health, and safety compliance audits to ensure compliance with State, Federal and local regulations and Company policies.Work with field and management to identify and implement solutions to audit findings.Assist in the preparation of safety preplans and hazard analysis identification for both power and gas work.Ability to travel and additional duties as assigned.Qualifications and ExperienceUtility Construction Experience Required5-7 years of direct safety compliance experience or equivalentExpert knowledge of OSHA RegulationsValid Driver’s LicenseExcellent Computer SkillsExcellent Written and Oral Communications SkillsBilingual - SpanishTo apply use the "Email your resume" link above.
