Sales & Marketing Rotational Engineer (Grad Candidates)
Job Description: We bring in a unique blend of strong college talent with a technical background and a demonstrated interpersonal and leadership make up, who are interested in the sales, marketing and business side of a technical company.
The America's Sales and Marketing Rotation Program (SMRP) is designed to launch technical graduates into a sales and marketing career! Building on your technical knowledge, SMRP will provide an opportunity for accelerated business experience.
The two year program is designed to build comprehensive knowledge of Intel's products and services, key initiatives, business model, culture and organizational structure, while developing your technical and business acumen, communication skills and internal and external network. The program consists of two six month marketing rotations, followed by a yearlong rotation in sales and concludes with placement in a field sales or marketing role.
As part of the SMRP, you will work on many challenging projects critical to Intel's growth. These projects will provide excellent opportunities for career development and making your mark on Intel.
"MUST HAVE" SKILLS:
For Grad candidates (ONLY):
MBA degree with an undergrad degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
Must have completed their MBA degree between Spring/Summer of 2012 and Spring/Summer of 2013.
"Hands-on" technical (HW/SW) support experience (i.e., help desk support, worked on the school's tech support team, worked in the lab at school, etc.) Someone who has built their own computers or who loves to take them apart or "tinker" with them.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a general orientation towards people.
Someone who wants to leverage their technical knowledge to show people how to leverage technology to can change the world.
Demonstrated leadership and entrepreneurial skills.
Recorded extracurricular activities.
Previous technical internship experience.
Good communication and presentation skills.
GPA 3.0 or above.
All candidates must have a permanent right to work in the US without sponsorship.
"NICE TO HAVE" SKILLS:
Must speak and communicate fluently in Spanish or Portuguese.
