Job purpose : To market and sell the full ABCO product offering through account management and development, the implementation of strategic sales plans, and the utilization of all available resources and skill sets

Experience: 2-5 years sales experience in any industry; HVAC industry a plus

Education: high school diploma; Associates Degree or Technical/Vocational School a plus

Knowledge of local Connecticut region

Mechanically inclined/ technical background

Working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite; CRM knowledge a plus

Travel: Willing to travel within all areas Connecticut (company car provided)

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Account Management - Maintain existing account list, add and develop new accounts in all business segments, maintain positive and professional customer relationships

Time Management - Prioritize and coordinate multiple simultaneous time sensitive projects and sales calls, utilizing all available technology and resources to aid efficiency

Marketing - Have a comprehensive knowledge of and be able to communicate ABCO’s diverse product offerings, Vendor Programs, and internal Programs

Information Management –

Quotations and Orders: coordinate with appropriate ABCO Teams to develop accurate quotes, prepare quotes in a timely and professional manner, and provide follow up assistance

Reporting – Provide all required reports in to appropriate personnel in a timely manner

Communication - Maintain an open flow of communication, both verbally and written, among customers and ABCO teams at every level

Professional Development: Continually increase knowledge of each business segment, Participate in training and seminars as required
