Summary :

Supermicro's Sales department is seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Assistant, who will be responsible for and performing daily clerical and sales account maintenance tasks

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Monitor inventory and follow up ETA with purchasers
  • Act as a liaison between sales, purchasing, production, procurement, and logistics department
  • Provide assistance for intra-company project coordination between sales and non-sales departments
  • Enter, monitor, and communicate directly with clients regarding status of their orders, facilitating credit issues and negotiating returns
  • Assist with market research for presentations
  • Organize meetings for Senior Sales Manager, including taking notes and follow-up on action items
  • Assist Senior Sales Manager with OEM projects
  • Develop superior customer service relationships with prospects
  • Produce reports as needed
  • Take on additional duties as assigned
    • Qualifications :

    • Undergraduate degree and/or 18 months of call center or customer service experience
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Familiarity with order-entry system
    • Experience entering, tracking, and reporting data
    • Good listening skills, including demonstrating an expression of empathy, when needed
    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
    • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Fluent in both English and Chinese a plus

    • Able to sit for long periods of time
    • Able to input data into a computer and work with a computer screen for long periods of time
    • Occasional bending and standing
    • Standing, walking, sitting, talking/listening, crouching or crawling, reaching with hands and arms
    • Lift, carry, push and pull in excess of 15 pounds
