Sales Associate (Nonexempt)
Job Description:
The Sales Associate provides ongoing day-to-day support of a Private Wealth Advisor’s book of
business. While tasks may vary day to day, responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Working with clients to ensure proper accounting opening procedures and documentation
• Providing account information to clients and PWAs and maintaining key client relationships
• Proactively resolving clients’ issues and concerns
• Learning the business and products in order to assist PWAs
• Clerical duties such as handling telephones, mailing, filing and processing forms
• Taking and placing customer orders in brokerage and advisory accounts
• Participating in ongoing platform reviews and design initiatives
• Participating in ongoing learning and development to enhance support of PWAs’ business
• Train and recruit future sales support
• Comply with all industry rules and regulation and firm policies
Skills Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including internet
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Superior interpersonal, organizational, and client service skills
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree required
Licenses and Requirements
• Series 7 & 66
• May require additional parallel licenses to appropriately cover PWA
• Satisfy all ongoing regulatory continuing education
