We are searching for Sales Development Representatives for either our Portland, OR, office or Brisbane, CA, HQ. Specifically, we're looking for someone to effectively call potentially new customers using a leads list of folks who have proactively contacted us (not cold calling) to quickly identify qualified leads for the sales organization. This person needs to have a hands-on attitude, great verbal skills and not be afraid of the phone. This pivotal role will work closely with our sales and marketing team to build a working knowledge of our business that can be leveraged to campaign execution and feedback, lead maturation and ultimately delivery of qualified leads for the sales organization. You should expect to be on the phone five to six hours each day.
2+ years of sales experience
Ability to create customer interest, answer questions and initiate sales process.
Professional, concise and client-oriented writing skills
Efficiently record relevant customer interactions in our web-based CRM package, salesforce.com
Ability to work full time (40 hours a week) and start early (6:30AM)
Intermediate computer skills utilizing popular software like Microsoft Office, PDF tools and similar
Experience with LinkedIn and Google
Knowledge of the Agile software development industry
Software selling experience, preferably interested IT and/or software engineering
