Mixpo is looking for a Sales Director: National/Syndicator Tune-In, who will develop business through selling Mixpo’s interactive, multi-screen solution to the Tune-In Channel including: Syndicators, Broadcast Networks & Affiliates, News & Sports departments as well as Cable Companies and their related channels. You will work closely with our client services & media team(s) to build and implement campaigns as well as present post buy analysis which should lead to repeat business.

Specific responsibilities include:
Owning and expanding existing relationships and business/revenue goals with Syndicators, Broadcast Networks, Affiliates and Cable companies.

Develop new business opportunities/goals within the segment.

Providing strategic guidance on how best to deploy Mixpo technology in order to achieve advertiser goals.

In some cases you may be referred to work with a client’s National Advertising Agency; this may entail contacting the agency directly or working with a the Mixpo account contact.

The role will require attendance at several industry events.

Due to the personal nature of the industry (depending on your location) face to face meetings and entertainment will be paramount for success.

Acting as a communications conduit between client and Mixpo in order to capture service and product needs.

Communicate selling needs and industry trends to marketing and product teams.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal communication abilities.The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in selling advertising solutions, ideally digital media and/or technology to the broadcast/entertainment industry. Significant experience in sales marketing or planning will also be considered. This individual must have proven success in managing client expectations, meeting deadlines, multi-tasking, and working across functional groups. A passion for client and hence company success is paramount.

Specific job requirements include:
Minimum 5 years sales or account management experience in digital advertising, rich media or selling advertising technology solutions to local and/or national clients.

Bachelor’s Degree required, Marketing or equivalent degree preferred.

Thorough understanding of the digital media ecosystem and sales process.

Knowledge of interactive advertising. Rich media/video advertising and/or performance media experience preferred.

Strong entrepreneurial attitude required.

Experience in a start-up or fast paced technology environment desirable.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.
