Summary:
Our company is seeking an excellent candidate for the position of Sales Engineer to work in the Northeast. The Sales Engineer drives technical engineering aspects of the pre-sales process. Each Sales Engineer is responsible for prospects and customers within the assigned territory. Sales Engineers are an integral part of the company's Sales department and are essential to building value for our products.

The Sales Engineer will work directly with the regional Sales team to perform product presentations and demonstrations, develop compelling prototypes and proof of concepts, and provide field sales assistance to prospects and customers.

Requirements:
Understand the company's product strengths, functionality, positioning, and competition.

Maintain accurate and complete customer data in the Company's Information System.

Manage pre-sales technical evaluations, proof of concept demos, & pilot projects.

Define & understand prospect and customer problems and requirements. Suggest creative solutions using our technologies to satisfy requirements & create additional value.

Partner with the Regional Sales Team to exceed the quota for the territory.

Visit prospects and customers on a regular basis to develop and maintain close relationships.

Conduct customer-training sessions.

Qualifications:
BSCS or an equivalent degree.

4+ years of software development & design experience.

Experience with Java, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML5, and/or WPF application development.

Considerable experience with the Financial Services and/or Federal markets and applications that are built in the territory.

Ability to conduct and drive onsite technical meetings with prospects and customers.

Strong availability to travel to prospect and customer sites and for meeting in person.

Solid online and in-person presentation skills.

Proven success in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Brings energy and enthusiasm to the job.
