This is a full time position based in our corporate HQs in Reston, VA, however, the selected candidate can be located/live anywhere in the U.S.
hCentive, the leader in simplifying the complex world of health insurance, is looking for a Sales Executive to promote, engage and sell our SaaS technology solutions to large brokers and corporate clients. The candidate will interface with internal & external business partners to establish and grow our market-leading competitive group marketplace solution. Description
Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Executive will be responsible for generating lead activity, cultivating relationships, following up with clients/prospects, interfacing with Commercial Operations, preparing presentations, keeping CRM system up to date, managing client expectations, introducing team members to new clients and ultimately closing on new selling opportunities.
The candidate has responsibility and accountability for their portion of the revenue growth of the division and the timely closing of sales for the Group Marketplace.
The candidate brings extensive experience in - and a thorough understanding of - one or more of the following:
Group Health, Dental, Vision, Group Life, Group Accidental Death & Disability (AD&D), Long & Short Term Disability, Flexible Spending, Health Saving, or Reimbursement Accounts
SaaS technology management
Must have experience selling benefit products or services to large brokers and large corporate clients
Cultivate leads through our internal marketing programs, networking and previous relationships
Turn leads into opportunities through thoughtful presentations, exceptional demonstrations and other sales approaches that identify client buying needs
Track major milestones and accomplishments in CRM system
Be accountable for quality and timely delivery of all sales communication
Close sales with brokers and large corporate clients
Establish realistic timelines and goals for client implementations
Hand off closed sales to appropriate operational team members
Provide feedback to General Manager on competitive market offerings
Position organization in the market to win deals and influence networks
10+ years' of Health Insurance or Benefits Administration Sales experience
Ability to influence decisions in a matrix environment
Ability to influence others to achieve results
Experience in benefit technology products, benefit product sales, sales through large brokers and consultants, sales to Fortune 1000 HR Staff
Exceptional presentation skills; strong storyboarding and PowerPoint skills
Strong knowledge in the Healthcare Reform Act and Health Insurance Exchange domain
Solid analytical and writing skill set
Up to 100% travel
A track record demonstrating a healthy sense of urgency – ability to handle pressure of shifting timelines - is an absolute must
Bachelor's degree in related field; Master's degree highly preferred
